SUNDAY FILM CLUB.

SUNDAY FILM CLUB is a supportive community of experienced filmmakers who get films made with the emphasis on fun, learning from each other and making films in a truly collaborative sense. We share time, talent, equipment and resources in order to make films that our members would not ordinarily have the budget or expertise to make alone. We come together through monthly meetings, pick and plan projects, organise into groups and take the necessary actions in getting them made.

Who does what?

Most if not all members wanted to step out of their comfort zones and try different roles than their job description permitted. So that's what we do; Camera operators write, actors do sound, directors edit. Whatever discipline you fancy that month, you opt for, all candidates choices are placed in a hat and picked via random selection.

How films are made?
All films are made within a month; 2 weeks to write, 1 day to shoot at 1 location, 2 weeks to edit. All films must be shown at the following monthly meeting. The film title is one word picked from a hat, which the elected writer uses as a source of inspiration for the script.
